[BIBLIOPHILIA]. The Bibliophile’s Guest Book. An excellent trade association publication on illustrated books, reflecting the creative vitality of the interwar period. Paris, Trade Association of Art Book Publishers, 1925–1929. 3 small folio volumes, each bound in half-maroquin with a coarse fawn-coloured grain on the corners, a spine with three raised bands bearing a gilt title and date at the foot; covers and spines preserved. Unpaginated, with numerous black-and-white and colour reproductions. A small scratch to the corners of the first volume. These three volumes (1925, 1926–27 and 1928–29) compile over 80 examples of books adorned with colour and black-and-white reproductions, classified by publishing house and containing, at the end, a table of works, authors and illustrators. Print run of 2,000 copies for the first volume (no. 1531), 1,800 for the third (no. 693). A very fine set.
