2 vols. in-32 (10,4 x 6,7 cm), long-grained Empire green morocco, spine ribbed and decorated, title and tomaison gilt, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, threaded edges and headpieces, gilt inner fillet, gilt edges (contemporary binding in modern lined slipcase).
"Pretty little edition, very well printed in microscopic type, containing 64 tales, following the order of the Didot edition of 1814." (Rochambeau, p. 540, n° 132).
Minor foxing in places else a very fine copy in contemporary morocco of this uncommon small edition, printed by Honoré de Balzac. Leather bookplate KF.
