2 vols. large in-4 (33 x 26,5 cm), glazed blond calf, ornate ribbed spine, title and appendices, triple fillet framing the covers, gilt head, double fillet on the edges, wide inner lace, edged slipcases (period binding).
Two portraits (La Fontaine and Fragonard) and 150 plates out of text (drawings and finished engravings) after Fragonard.
Small stains on the boards, foxing, otherwise a good, well-bound copy. Leather bookplate KF.
