In-12, blond basane, smooth ornate spine, title-piece, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, marbled edges (period binding).
4 plates hors texte engraved in intaglio by J.-B. Scotin. The Remarques sur l'histoire des Amours de Psyche? et de Cupidon (pp. 113-292) are by Claude-Ignace Brugière, baron de Barante.
