In-8, marbled calf, ornate ribbed spine, red and green titles, filleted edges, red edges (contemporary binding).
Title vignette and frontispiece engraved by de Launey after EISEN. The plates mentioned on p. 238 are missing (Barbier, I, 746; Cohen, 86; Gay, I, 709; Viollet-le-Duc, 88).
