3 volumes bound in 1 vol. in-8, brown calf, spine ribbed and decorated, missing title-piece and small gilt arms on a piece of red leather on the spine (period binding).
First edition with a frontispiece engraved by Scotin after Bonnard and 3 engraved plates.
Rubbed, spine split, first cover partially detached. Case Shele's armorial bookplate with the motto Honi soit qui mal y pense, arms reproduced on the spine (Barbier IV, 322; Quérrd, VII, 56).
