Large in-4, brown morocco, mosaic ribbed spine decorated with gilt fillets, quintuple gilt fillet and band of morocco framing the boards, double gilt fillet on the edges, sextuple gilt fillet inside, gilt tr., covers preserved, slipcase (Blanchetière). Limited edition of 100 copies on Japon reprinted in in-4 format containing 2 states (before the letter and finished state) of all 10 hors-texte illustrations by Lynch etched by E. Abot on Japon and on vellum. Bound at the end of the volume are 2 additional states of the pure etching on japon (9 plates) and on vellum (10 plates with some marginal foxing). (Monod 882 - who does not mention a copy of this type.)A very fine copy in contemporary mosaic morocco.
