In-8, 29 pp, covers preserved with E.A.S. from the author to his "good and old friend Gilbert" (probably Antoine-Pierre-Marie GILBERT (1785-1858, former grand sonneur of Notre-Dame de Paris, archaeologist and author of several works on the churches of Paris and Rouen). Frontispiece, title vignette on chine appliqué and large colophon mark. A few small brown spots.
