One volume (of two) large in-4 of [1] f. engraved title and 60 lithographed and coloured plates out of text, numbered by department "very interesting for the regional and peasant costumes of France" (Colas):
Morbihan (5), Ille-et-Vilaine (4), Finistère (22), Côtes du Nord (2), Seine-Inférieure (11), Eure (5), Manche (3), Calvados (4), Eure-et-Loir (2), Mayenne (1), Loiret (1).
Dark green half-maroquin, finely decorated smooth spine, gilt title (slightly later binding).
