An important album containing 640 old postcards sent by Vilmorin during a trip to Italy, England and the Côte d'Azur between 1902 and 1904. All the cards are addressed to Countess Mélanie de Gaufridy de Dortan (1876 - 1937), a native of Dompierre-les-Ormes in Saône et Loire. In 1900, she married Philippe Lévêque de Vilmorin (1872 - 1917), a grain merchant, farmer and seed producer. Italy: 450 cards. England: 80 cards. France (Côte d'Azur, Aix-les-Bains): 110 cards.
