EVREUX (27) – “1903 REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL COMPETITION” – Large bronze-class medal, designed by Alphée DUBOIS (*) - “French Republic”: a woman in a toga, her hand resting on a palm frond symbolising “science”, places her left hand on the shoulder of a female farmer holding a pruning knife in her right hand and a sheaf of wheat in her left arm; in the background, a sower in a field – Reverse: “Ministry of Agriculture”. In the centre, the competition’s inscription; around the edge, ears of wheat, bunches of grapes and “Science and Labour”.
