Description
FRANCE AVIATION - Air France PILOT’S CAP, circa 1950 model. Made of navy blue cloth with an insignia, embroidered in gold canetille thread using the ‘shrimp stitch’ (winged seahorse). On the underside, a wide 3.5 cm band of blue-grey fabric embroidered with seahorses around the edge against a background of clouds. On the peak, a double gold cord fastened with two metal ‘seahorse’ buttons. Lining and peak in black.
