FRANCE, circa 1900 – LAWYER’S CAP – Made of wool and velvet, with an octagonal base topped by four arch-shaped appendages and a black pompom at the top. A wide black velvet ribbon (37 mm) encircles the base of the sides. Black leather trim around the inside, black fabric lining. In the centre of the base, revealing the supporting cardboard, is the hat-maker’s label: GUIGUET D’ARLES, by patent, sole manufacturer. Height: 13 cm – circumference: 59. – Very good condition.
