FAMOUS FIGURES: Grand Duke Nicholas I of Russia, Grand Duke Michael of Russia, Empress Marie of Hesse-Darmstadt of Russia, wife of Alexander II, Grand Duke Constantine, brother of Alexander II of Russia and commander of the Baltic Fleet, Grand Duke Alexei of Russia, Marie Sophie Frédérique Dagmar of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, wife of Alexander III and mother of Nicholas II, Alexandra Feodorovna, Empress of Russia and mother of Alexander II, Grand Duke Vladimir Kirillovich Romanov, born in 1917, head of the Imperial House of Russia, Tsar Alexander III.
