NIEVRE – LOCAL FIGURES – Circa 1860 / 1865, Madame CHENU, DEAN OF LA CHARITÉ-SUR-LOIRE – Close-up view of the centenarian, seated facing the camera, in period dress with a headdress. Albumen print mounted on card, visiting-card size 10.2 x 6 cm – On the reverse, the photographer’s signature: “TERUEL, Photographie Centrale de France, 9 Rue du Petit Versailles, Nevers, Director of the Panthéon of the Imperial Order of the Legion of Honour ( * ) for the Nièvre and Cher departments, publisher and owner of the ‘Album of the French Episcopate’”.
