GEORGES CHAUMET Platinum (950 parts per thousand) pocket watch, textured silver-coloured dial signed ‘G. CHAUMET 20 rue de la Paix’, black railway-style minute track, Arabic numeral hour markers in black decals, blued hollow-pomme hands, small seconds at six o’clock. Hinged case back in platinum (950 parts per thousand), numbered 10428. Mechanical movement with manual winding via a pendant, lever escapement. The watch was non-functioning at the time of valuation; no guarantee is given as to future operation or the condition of the components. Scratches on the case, marks in the centre of the dial, crystal to be fitted, dial probably restored.
