A 16-pound bronze "Nuremberg" weight stack, the body decorated with geometric friezes separated by cords and a hunting scene of running dogs. The hinged handle is supported by two busts of two-tailed mermaids. Hasp lock in the shape of sea horses. Nine buckets. Mark of the "balancier fondeur", Georg Schiller received master in 1633 still active in 1656. For a similar battery: Victoria & Albert Museum, London, number 559:1 17th century. (Two weights missing) Total height: 21 cm.
