KOUMYA dagger 1972. Royal gift from the King of Morocco Hassan II, dagger in 750‰ gold, the scabbard adorned with motifs set with rose-cut diamonds in the centre an emerald cabochon weighing approximately 2.20 cts, as well as a belt motif on the upper part. The handle is set with a chased gold piece adorned with small sapphires and cabochon rubies (missing) and topped with a cabochon emerald in a closed setting weighing approximately 3.50 cts (as well as the gold part on the hilt) and a coat-of-arms motif and a laurel branch set with small cabochon rubies. The enamelled steel blade bears the Arabic inscription "On behalf of His Majesty the King of Morocco".
The pommel is made of holly wood.
