Rectangular, curved stele engraved with an inscription in Greek characters in two registers (GLAUKIAS SKIONAIOS ?). White marble. Limestone deposit. Greek art. The inscription seems to be later. 64 x 20,5 x 9,5 cm. Expert : Antoine TARANTINO. Provenance: Villa l'Ermitage (former villa on the Mourillon in Toulon), 58 boulevard Eugène Pelletan, which included a greenhouse with a rockery, this element was embedded in this masonry. In the 19th century, this villa belonged to a sailor, before being purchased in 1905 by Léon Bournicard (an engineer at the La Seyne sur Mer shipyards) and his wife Joséphine, née Berthelet. It was then inherited by his nephews
