Paris, Éditions du Sagittaire, Simon Kra, 1920 [Completed printing 22 February 1921]. 1 vol. in-16 square (148 x 155 mm). Full black morocco, smooth spine, title authors and date in red and gold lettering, red suede lining. Entirely untrimmed, covers and spine preserved. Binding signed M. J. Guian-Milliaud. 152 pp, (6 ff. last blank), 7 plates including frontispiece, illustrated cover. Slight transfers. First edition produced under the direction of André Malraux, illustrated with 7 original etchings by the illustrator Géo. A. Drains, including a colour frontispiece and 6 hors-texts. There are also 3 illustrations in red and black by the same illustrator, one framing the text on all even-numbered pages, another for the odd-numbered pages and a third on a double page for the false titles. Edition of 1040 numbered copies, this one of 940 on Hollande van Gelder Zonen (n°805). A very fine copy bound by M. J. Guian-Milliaud.
