In-8 (165x240 mm), midnight blue morocco, ribbed spine framed with cold filets extending over the boards, boards decorated with a large floral composition stamped and mosaicked in havana, green, mauve and yellow morocco, gilt fillet on the edges, brown morocco lining signed "Ch. Lanoë" in a gilt frame, brocaded silk endpapers with multicoloured floral decoration, double endpapers, gilt edges on witnesses, covers and spine preserved, lined slipcase (Charles Lanoë). 338 pages, 40 black etchings by Gustave Leheutre, including 1 frontispiece, 1 title vignette, and 38 in the text (19 headpieces and 19 culs-de-lampe).
