Charming morocco binding lined with Trinckvel, enclosing a unique copy, enriched with a suite of etchings on Chine, five leaves of original drawings by André Marty, the Society's menu adorned with an etching bearing an autograph dispatch from the artist in pencil to Gabriel Beytout, as well as an original copperplate inlaid in the centre of the upper cover.

Small in-8 (130x165 mm), grey morocco, spine with 4 cold-framed bands, gold lettering to the entrenerfs, copperplate of the illustration of chapter XXIV inlaid in the centre of the first cover in a gilt frame with brown mosaic foliage to the corners, double gilt fillet to the edges, lining in the same morocco with gilt framing, the first signed by the bookbinder "Trinckvel" in gilt lettering, light salmon moiré silk endpapers, double endpapers, gilt head on witnesses, covers and spine preserved, edged slipcase (Trinckvel).
V and 145 pages, 37 original etchings and 53 culs-de-lampe by André Marty, wood-engraved by Paul Baudier.
Spine faded, slight scuffing to one nerve, minor rubbing to spine, spine ends and edges of slipcase.
Edition decorated with delicate compositions in 2 tones by André Édouard Marty (1882-1974), including 37 original etchings and 53 wood-engraved culs-de-lampe by Paul Baudier.
Limited edition of 170 copies, this one of 150 reserved for members of the society, printed specially for Gabriel Beytout (N°49).
Unique copy, enriched with :
- a suite of 37 etchings on China paper
- five sheets of original ink and watercolour culs-de-lampe drawings containing twelve figures, with pencil notes and the artist's signature (for 2 ff.)
- the menu of 29 November 1933 of the Société des Éclectiques du Livre (2 ff.), decorated with an etching, bearing an autograph dispatch from the artist in pencil to Gabriel Beytout
- an original copperplate inlaid in the binding used for the etching of chapter XXIV.
A precious copy, in rich Trinckvel morocco with a fine original copperplate inlaid on the front cover.
