REBOUX (Paul). LOBEL-RICHE. The House of Dances. Novel. Illustrated with thirty-five original drypoints by the painter and engraver Lobel-Riche. A very fine copy in a superb Art Deco binding signed by Flammarion. Sans lieu, Pour le compte des Auteurs, 1928. Volume in-4 (30 x 20 cm). Full red mosaic morocco, broadly framed on the boards with gilt cold fillets forming spirals, gilt fleurons at the corners on mosaic pieces of old pink morocco, ribbed spine decorated in the same spirit, gilt head, pink moiré silk lining and endpapers. Bordered slipcase. (1) f., 284 pp, (2) ff? + sequels Very luxurious edition of this novel about a Sevillian dancer. The original was published in 1894. This self-published edition is remarkably illustrated with 35 etched figures by Lobel-Riche. Edition of 250 copies, one of 150 on Arches vellum (no. 236), including a black suite with remarks. A perfectly preserved copy.
