Important collection of libertarian pamphlets signed by Kropotkin, Reclus, Grave, Chaughi and other great voices of anarchism, offering direct access to the fighting literature of the late nineteenth century. [Paris], La Révolte, Le Libertaire, Le Père Peinard, Les Temps nouveaux etc. [from 1893 to 1905]. In-8 (192 x 140 mm), half red basane, smooth spine decorated with title and gilt filleting. Covers preserved. Multiple pagination. Collection of a selection of 19 libertarian pamphlets published in Paris by the great figures of militant anarchism: Pierre Kropotkine (5), Élisée Reclus (2), Domela (2), Enrico Malatesta (1), A. Hamon (1), G. Etiévant (1), Ch. Albert (1), René Chaughi (1) and collectively under the direction of E. Reclus, L. Michel, J. Grave (5). Most appeared as offprints or ephemeral publications distributed by the main libertarian newspapers: La Révolte, Le Libertaire, Le Père Peinard, Les Temps nouveaux. Some covers were illustrated by Hénault, Daumier, Willaume and Grandjouan. Particularly noteworthy are René Chaughi's remarkable text, La Femme esclave (Paris, Bureau des Temps nouveaux, 1901), and Élisée Reclus's, L'Anarchie et l'Église (Paris, Bureau des Temps nouveaux, 1901). It is followed by 42 pages of songs, printed by Chaponet, some with music. A very interesting set, as much for the quality of the texts as for the ideological and historical coherence of the corpus.
