Superb suite of 15 original colour lithographs on Japon nacré, numbered and signed by Frédéric MENGUY, to illustrate this short novel by José-Luis de VILALLONGA. In-folio (460x600 mm), leaves, in two khaki cloth folders with gilt title, and a khaki cloth slipcase with gilt title, illustrator's name and author's signature. 69 pages of text and 15 original colour lithographs by Frédéric Menguy, signed and numbered by the artist. Slight wetness and scratches on the cover. Luxurious edition of this novel by José-Luis de Vilallonga (1920-2007), decorated with 15 large original colour lithographs on Japon nacré by Frédéric Menguy (1927-2007), all signed and numbered by the artist. Limited edition of 230 copies signed by the artist, the author, the publisher and the bailiff responsible for numbering them, this being one of 100 copies printed on Arches vellum for the text and on Japon nacré for the lithographs (No. 30). A very fine copy, complete with 15 lithographs signed by Menguy, evoking the dreamy themes of Sapphic love and femininity.
