Paris, Cité des livres, imp. Ducros & Colas, 1955. Volume in-8 (260 x 193 mm), paperback, illustrated cream covers, yellow ribbon. Unpaginated [10 leaves]. Cover browned in the margins, more pronounced trace on the second cover. First edition. Limited edition of 500 copies on Vergé d'Arches, this one n°30. Copy signed in graphite by Van Dongen on the first flyleaf. The illustrations include drawings on the covers and title, four plates out of the text, two of which are based on watercolours of Deauville, one on the painting of the Bassin de Latone at Versailles and one on the painting "Bouquet rose et mauve". Opens with a poem by Maurice Rostand. A pleasant copy signed by the artist.
