BAYREUTH Red stoneware plate with a gold decoration in the centre depicting a coat of arms within a shield supported by two lions beneath a crown; the rim is decorated with mascarons holding garlands of fruit and interlaced patterns 18th century, c. 1730. Diameter: 22.5 cm (cracks, small chip on the foot) A plate decorated with the same coat of arms recently appeared at public auction (Paris, 13 December 2023, lot 150).
