A very comprehensive collection with numerous additions and enhancements: blocks of four with dated corners, used letters, postal stationery, postcards, first-day covers and commemorative items with postmarks, etc. Including various sections: aeroplanes, taxes, pre-cancelled stamps, blocks & sheets, booklets, etc. Stamps, both mint and used; a very comprehensive catalogue. - VOLUME I - postal marks, letters with stamps and stamps from 1840 to 1944: 19 19th-century postage marks + 38 letters featuring the earliest stamps prior to number 100 + 67 letters, postcards with postage, postal stationery, and inter-zone cards from the Second World War.
