Oxford, Clarendon, 1801, seven tomes in seven volumes, bound in full long-grain morocco. Spines with five raised bands, titles, authors’ names and volume numbers in gold, panels decorated with fleurons; covers with blind-stamped borders and small spandrels; all edges gilt. The bindings are, unfortunately, worn, with stains at the bottom of the spines and covers of three volumes, and water stains at the bottom of the pages of those same three volumes. Scuffs and knocks
