Charles Rennie DOWELL (c.1876–1935) – ATELIER INTERNATIONAL ITALY, 1980s Willow armchair in blackened ash with a curved backrest and storage space beneath the seat. The chair’s curved backrest forms a willow motif, and the latticework consists of a series of short horizontal inserts between the continuous vertical slats. The tall, semi-circular backrest served to separate the entrance from the tea room located behind.
