N.B.: Ge Ba are beautiful fabric collages created by Chinese peasant women and factory workers using worn-out clothing.
Ge Ba were intended to be cut up to make linings and patches for clothing. They have been exhibited at the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, as well as at the Miró Foundation in Barcelona, due to their artistic affinity with the abstract painting of the same period (Paul Klee, Nicolas de Staël and Serge Poliakoff)
