LA PENDASTRAVA. A C-series clock-cum-moneybox in burl veneer and fillet marquetry, with an oval dial featuring Roman numerals, signed, with its key. Dated from the 1930s. H: 26.5 cm. Slight signs of wear. Designed by the insurance company ‘Le Travail’, this clock allowed its owner to save money by inserting a two-franc coin every day to keep the mechanism running.
