Chiselled silver chalice, bearing the Minerva hallmark and the goldsmith’s mark ‘FF’ for Favier (a family of goldsmiths from Lyon). The vermeil bowl is decorated with ears of wheat, ears of barley, vine tendrils and palmettes. The knot is decorated with ears of wheat, foliage and water leaves. The base is decorated with sacred figures such as Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and Eucharistic symbols such as ears of wheat and vine tendrils within cartouches. Total net weight: 435 g. Height: 30.5 cm.
