Attributed to Abel Grimmer (1570–1619), *Summer*; *Winter*, two oil paintings on oak panel, 40 × 58 cm and 38.5 × 64 cm, two reinforced panels, slight scratching on *Summer* Another version of *Summer* or *Haymaking* was sold on 6 October 2018 at the Conan auction house in Lyon (Lot No. 276), reproduced on page 29; *The Month of December* (series of seven months), with variants, signed and dated ABEL GRIMMER FE. 1603, woodcut, 16.5 cm, was held by the Galerie de Jonckheere in 1986 (Reine de Bertier de Sauvigny, Jacob and Abel Grimmer, p. 218 (104)); another version, *Small wintry village landscape with ice skaters*, was sold on 26 June 2025 in Munich (Lot No. 205), reproduced on page 91.
