Two hat boxes containing 7 hats, including one marked ‘Sools Maître Chapelier Paris’ (internal dimensions: 18.5 x 15.5 cm) and another marked ‘R.H. Macy & Co., Inc. New York’ (internal dimensions: 16.5 x 16 cm, foxing, signs of wear). One of the hat boxes is made of cardboard, marked ‘Bonwit Teller Fifth Avenue - New York” and features two labels from the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique, one of which is dated 15 June 1938 (box dimensions: H: 21.5 cm, diameter: 36.3 cm; signs of wear; one label torn).
