A lead seal certifying the origin of foodstuffs from the 18th century, possibly from the Languedoc region: three fleurs-de-lis and the beginning of the date 16.. stamped on the lead. Presented in a plastic slipcase and labelled by the collector. Double-sided seal folded in half: 2.5 x 3 cm. In good condition. Included is a five-hundred-livre assignat secured against the National Domains, dated 20 Pluviose, Year 2 of the Republic (1794), framed under glass. Including frame: 14.5 x 20.5 cm. Water stains and spots; irregular margins.
