A double saleron in 950‰ silver in the Louis XVI style, the body openwork with pilasters and floral garlands, two bluish-tinted glass interiors, a central handle in the shape of a pyramid, openwork with floral scrolls terminating in a floral knob, Restoration period. Mercury’s head hallmark; French work dating from between 1840 and 1994. 12.5 x 12.5 x 7 cm. 75g7 silver. Damage and losses, minor warping due to wear, tarnished silver, glass inserts slightly loose, possibly replaced
