Jacques CALLOT (after). Series entitled ‘The Misery and Misfortunes of War, depicted by Jacques Callot, a nobleman from Lorraine, and brought to light by Israel, his friend. Paris, 1633’. Sixteen burin-engraved plates on sepia paper, mounted in four natural wood frames in the Louis XVI style, 19th-century period. Approx. 8 x 18.5 cm each; including frame: 40 x 64 cm each. Prints sun-faded, margins trimmed, traces of glue at the corners, a few tears, two panes missing from one frame
