Technical specifications: Wool pile on a cotton backing.
A brick-red field features a scattering of multi-lobed florets, interspersed with cruciform floral arrangements, all predominantly blue in colour.
These serve as anchor points for an extensive network of circular trellising, where, alongside small spring bouquets, a variegated bird or a speckled butterfly appears in turn.
The main marine-coloured border features garlands of sky-blue foliage, from which plant-like corollas emerge.
It is flanked by four cream-coloured counter-borders with garlands of small flowers. A lovely, fresh design.
