FRENCH GOTHIC WOODEN CHANDELIER, LATE 19TH – EARLY 20TH CENTURY Large carved wooden pendant light with iron chains in the French Neo-Gothic style, or a lantern-style element dating from the late 19th century. Richly decorated with: cherub masks, mythical beasts, gargoyles, Romanesque arches and neo-Gothic architectural motifs. H: approx. 68 cm. In its original condition with age-related wear, old cracks in the wood, traces of woodworm treatment and surface wear, and a slight wobble in one of the arms.
