Green Vuittonite canvas exterior, lozine edging, beechwood slat reinforcements on the back, top and front.
Table top in green Vuittonite.
Central and side locks, table linkage and polished brass studs
Rope handles designed to accommodate the bamboo pole for carrying in the bush
Lining in natural linen/cotton canvas

Former marking on the front: ‘Commandant Mascarel’
When folded, the table fits into the lid of the trunk via a locking mechanism.
The linkage system is housed in a small compartment within the main body.
One of the particularly thick support brackets is notched to hold the lid in the open position.
