JAPAN, Edo period Set of three yari (Japanese spear):
The first of the futomata yari type (two-pronged spear), the blade of the su yari type (straight blade in the shape of a triangle) in iron.
The shaft is made of black lacquered wood, the upper quarter inlaid with aogai (mother-of-pearl), the ends reinforced with copper rings. The iron pommel.
