Description
A MAGNIFICENT First Communion apron made of embroidered tulle, with scalloped lace all around; five ivory silk bows, embroidered with pearls and sequins, highlight the significance of this ceremony. The ensemble is completed by a wide silk sash, tied at the right side, trimmed with pearls, the ‘seizennoù’ of which are fringed with glass and metal beads (excellent condition). A rare piece. Plougastel style. Early 20th century.
