LEMONNIER, Théophile (1901–1986): “The Embroiderer of Pont-L’Abbé”, 1924/1925. WOODCUT on Japanese paper, signed on the block and numbered 7/12. One copy held at the Musée Départemental Breton. Framed under glass. Dimensions (viewable area): 20 x 13.5 cm. A former pupil of Jeanne Malivel at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes, he taught there during the war and subsequently became its director in 1948.
