A rare first edition of Budé’s masterful work on Greek prose, with a few careful original annotations. Title printed in red and black within a wood-engraved frame bearing the printer Ascensius’s mark, with initials in cross-hatching engraved on wood. Bound copy, in very fresh condition inside.
