[Issued in Madrid by Don Carlos IV], by the grace of God King of Castile, León, Sicily and Jerusalem, Navarre, Toledo and Valencia... on 31 May 1806. Manuscript in-4, approximately 200 pp., red morocco leather, the covers decorated with various motifs in fine gold, as well as the recipient’s name; ribbed spine adorned with the same motifs; gilt edges; slipcase. A superb letter of nobility, handwritten in black ink on paper and parchment. It is adorned with two large, full-page illuminated coats of arms and a family tree decorated in fine gold.
