(Reversal of ff. h2-h3 and h4-h5) Gothic Latin text in two columns with 52 lines per page, rubricated in blue and red. blue and red, all the large initials have been drawn with a brush in these same colours. The Sentences of Pierre Lombard (XII? c.) were the standard theological theological textbook of medieval universities. Every master had to comment on these four books in his lectures. Pierre d'Ailly's work ras therefore seems to be his academic questions and answers on the Sentences, testifying to his theological thought and scholastic method. The Strasbourg edition of 1490, printed by the workshop of Georg Husner, is one of the earliest impressions of this commentary. Contemporary full calf binding on wooden boards, boards damaged and with wormholes, the spine formerly covered with grey paint, the interior grey paint, the interior is still clean, note a pinhead worm hole crossing the through the right-hand margin of a third of the book and a pinhole in the spine. a few light and angular wet spots which are not serious. Presence two handwritten vellum endpapers probably taken from a work of the period.
