[REVOLUTION – PARIS]. The Demolition of the Bastille – Coloured engraving. No place [Paris], no publisher, no date [c. 1789–1790]. Etching (30 x 46 cm) hand-coloured and mounted on a white Marie-Louise mount (50 x 65 cm). The paper is slightly browned and there is some warping on the Marie-Louise. This revolutionary print depicts Parisians demolishing the Bastille prison in the days immediately following its storming. A fine historical engraving.
