VIII and 281 pp., 43 colour illustrations, including 5 insert plates. An elegant edition illustrated with colour compositions by Raphaël Collin (1850–1916), in a neoclassical style imbued with symbolism. One of 355 copies printed on Imperial Japan paper; this copy is unnumbered. Included are: the publisher’s specimen containing two of the illustrations (a double leaf on Japanese paper and a printed folder) and a card announcing an exhibition at the Librairie des Amateurs featuring Collin’s illustrations for *Chansons de Bilitis*. A very fine copy.
