MOLIÈRE. Works. A fine facsimile of the 1734 edition of Molière’s works, illustrated by François Boucher. Paris, Michel de l’Ormeraie, 1972. 9 volumes in quarto format, publisher’s binding in marbled imitation leather, ribbed spine with title and volume number labels in red leather, panels with gilded decoration, and a gilded heraldic mosaic design on the front covers. Between 200 and 300 pages per volume; plates not collated. Spines faded, a few white spots on the covers. An edition published to mark the tercentenary of Molière’s death and collated from the 1734 edition, illustrated with engravings after François Boucher. Numbered copy (no. 4753). A fine, complete set of all 9 volumes.
